Past
Tradepoint Logistics B.V. was established in 1998. The 30 years experience in shipping and trading of Mr. de Jong turned out to be the foundation for a successful company. Early 2003 Tradepoint Europe B.V. was established for commodity trading/marketing and hedging purposes.
Present
Tradepoint Logistics is also an active player in trading and exporting edible oils, the main focus is on Ex-CIS countries. In 2005 Tradepoint Afghanistan has been founded. The office is based in Kabul, Afghanistan. A local company under European management. As a result of the relationships built, Tradepoint Europe B.V. was invited by the Afghan International Chamber of Commerce to open the Netherlands Afghan Chamber of Commerce in Holland. The NAKK was officially opened in September 2005 in Hellevoetsluis, The Netherlands. In 2007 The NAKK combined her activities with the Netherlands Afghan Business Council. Future
Tradepoint will extend her activities in the Middle East region. A second office will be opened in Afghanistan, in Mazar-e-Sharif and a new office will be opened in The United Arab Emirates, based in Dubai.
